Breaking Sounds aims to give young singer/song writers and bands a chance to get performance experience, to meet other performers like them, and to learn the ropes in front of a welcoming audience.
Its not a competition (it's not the Voice!) we want to encourage connections and contacts, learning the tricks of the live performance trade with guidance from experienced musicians and technical support.

Who's organising it?
Breaking Sounds is run by people who have a background in the Melbourne music and creative scene and who think there's a lot of awesome young performers out there who could do with more performance and mentoring opportunities to hone their craft and build their confidence. Breaking Sounds is a not-for-profit venture.
